Recognizing that the results of high impact research may not be available by the general abstract submission deadline, late-breaking (LBW) is an opportunity for researchers to present a short paper or poster on work in progress. Work presented as LBW must not have been previously presented, published in any other peer-reviewed venue, or accepted for publication prior to CHI 2025.
Authors of LBW submissions will be notified in mid-September about the status of their papers, and if accepted will be invited to present them at CHI. Accepted LBW presentations will be published in the CHI Extended Abstracts and in the ACM Digital Library. Note that payment of the LBW submission fee does not include registration for the conference. All submission deadlines are in Anywhere on Earth (AoE) time zone.
